I'm looking to hire someone to help me get to the advanced level for navigating social media sites, and building a Wordpress.org &.com expertise. I don't want to pay high consulting fees. NOT the $50-$100 per hour rate. What I really need are college grads and interns. Got any ideas? Craigslist didn't have anything listed. Am also looking for LA seminars on the subjects. There are no WordPress user group events in July that I see. How do we build our expertise besides sitting in front of our computers looking at videos all day? I'd really like a live human, face to face, to work with.

Hi Tracy. I think you are on the right path looking for college grads and interns. Maybe you could contact a nearby community college, talk with someone there to find out who the teachers are in the computer department. Those techie teachers know where to find techie people. Also, see if you could post something on their job boards in the hallway.
Another thought, you mentioned looking on Craigslist. Maybe if you posted what you are looking for there, you might find it!
