I am an audio gal and and the producer of our podcast. We are going to be incorporating some video soon. I wondered where you would recommend I post those videos. Obviously I'll set up a Youtube page. I see a lot of people using Viddler. I've heard good things about Seesmic. What are the most popular places to post video? - Thanks, Mary-Lynn
I like http:/blip.tv to host my videos. They also serve up the iPod Rady video for the podcast, so I don't have to do that myself. There are other services that do the same thing, though.
On top of it all, I use http:/TubeMogul.com to distribute my videos to about 12-15 different video sites with only one upload. You upload to TubeMogul, add title, description, tags, etc and then they handle uploading to all the other sites. This saves a lot of time.
Finally, I also upload my videos to Facebook, either to my main Douglas video space or to the video area for each particular group like New Media Interchange, Career Opportunities or LA Friday Coffee.
Seesmic is much more about video conversations than posting videos.
