Educated as a Ph.D Research Scientist. Worked in a startup company for five years leading customer education teams. Moved to Motorola in 1987 to lead the transition from manual assembly to automated assembly factory populations. 27 Years in Technical and Leadership Education in Industry. Experienced in all design, development and delivery methods from classroom and virtual classroom to desktop and mobile e-learning. Authored a book on Quality Systems published by Motorola University Press. National Award from Meckler Media for Manufacturing Equipment and Process training designed and delivered in virtual reality in 1995. International Award from ISPI for a Global Design, Development and Delivery Process. Motorola University Presidents Award for the Model Factory Curriculum and the IT Competency Study. Currently responsible for E-Learning Strategy, Mobile E-Learning Development, Motorola Knowledge Community Resource Office and the Engineering and Innovation education portfolios. Art also regularly leads advanced inventing sessions and is a member of the Applications and Service Patent Committee and has three US Patents pending. Art has worked in 17 countries to design and deliver training. He enjoys Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, Singapore, Dublin, Penang, Paris, Bangalore, Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Cheng-du.
